Do you have a child with a disability or developmental delay aged birth to 5 years?
If so, Baby Bridges™ may be of interest to you.
Baby Bridges™ is a unique and innovative early intervention therapy/playgroup program that will provide an opportunity for a break, and also a learning environment for both parents, and their children. It aims to bridge the gap between parents of young children with a disability, and supports in the community.
Baby Bridges™ provides support for parents of children with a disability aged birth – 5 years. During this play therapy time with the children, parents receive information, training and support in order to increase their capacity to care for their child now, and in the future. The children benefit from specialised play activities with input from qualified therapists.
Centacare has a wealth of experience in the disability area and have been assisting families since 1979. Baby Bridges™ aims to strengthen the capacity of a family to potentially foresee future challenges and be equipped to work through them as a family unit. This will make a difference in enabling parents to better cope with their individual situation.
